Loch Duart Salmon
Chef Bruce Clyne-Watson returns to Oldshoremore beach to cook Loch Duart salmon, where he used to cook with his father as a boy.
I had the privilege of working as the camera operator and editor for this project, and let me tell you, it was an experience I'll never forget. The location, Oldshoremore beach in Scotland, was nothing short of breathtaking. With the fire pit set right by the waters' edge, the flames danced against the sandy beach and the blue sky, creating a truly magical scene.
The result is a salmon of the highest quality, with a fresh taste complimented by the simplicity of fire and smoke, prepared in a landscape so synonymous of Loch Duart.

Below is a selection of videography projects I have been the DOP / camera operator on
Born & Raised
Equipment - Sony A7S3 & Inspire 2
Earlier this year I spent a couple of weeks in the highlands filming with Great Brink and Euan Myles as they were commissioned by Loch Duart to create a range of films to promote their brand.
‘Born and Raised’ is the first in a series of 4 films which focusses on the values upon which Loch Duart was founded. The film gives you a glimpse of the farm teams who live and work in the communities of the Outer Hebrides where we raise our world-renowned salmon.
This job had a small and nibble crew which allowed us to work quickly as well as having the ability to change plans last minute due to weather and operational changes with boats and such like out at the pens.

SWC300
Equipment - Sony A7S3 & Inspire 2
This fast-paced film is full of energy, perfect for a young, thrill-seeking demographic who want to get out and explore Scotland’s outdoor opportunities. We filmed activities at various locations along the stunning coastal route: from horse riding on Ayr beach to road biking along the magnificent Mennock Pass. Finished with sharp and simple graphics and cut to a rousing hip hop track, the film builds to a beautiful drone shot of the imposing Drumlanrig Castle and an irresistible call to action: Fall in love with South West Scotland.
Murray Capital
Equipment - Sony FX9, A7S & Inspire 2
Murray Capital are an Edinburgh based investment firm. I filmed this video which highlights their history, values and vision. They have a long history of business in Scotland which started in the 70’s trading metal.
The filming took place across Edinburgh & Fife. I used the FX9 for the interview shots and also the A7S for the gimbal shots. For the interview setups I used a large soft box to create nice and soft light creating a Rembrandt look.
I feel the mix of old documentary footage and current day footage helps show the longevity of the business.
