Personal Work

Working as a freelance Lighting Camera Operator I think it’s important to film personal projects as well as client work. Below you’ll find a few examples of such recent work.

Tomorrow will be a good day

Tomorrow will be a good day was another project born out of lockdown. Seeing the grim news everyday promoted me to make a film to hopefully inspire a bit of hope about the situation. I created this film with a mix of footage shot around Edinburgh and also stock footage. Looking back it was incredible to see the streets so quiet to get these shots.

100 Places in Scotland

Yet another lockdown project whereby I pieced together all the places i’ve filmed in Scotland with the drone. A quick and snappy edit to get through all the locations in order only by how well they edited together. This video achieved over 1 million views across the platforms, I think it did so well many people were dreaming of getting back out and about during lockdown.
